CD Atlético Baleares Falls to UD Melilla (2-0)
CD Atlético Baleares fell in their visit to Melilla (2-0). Jaume Mut’s side lost after a game in which the home team advanced just before halftime. In the second half, the white-and-blues tried with clear approaches, but UD Melilla scored the decisive 2-0.
The match started with some changes in the starting eleven for the team led by Mut, who secured his first victory as Balearic coach last week.
It wasn’t until the final minutes of the first half that José Enrique managed to beat Ramón Vila, who hadn’t had to intervene until that moment. The halftime score was 1-0.
In the second half, the home team sealed the win with a goal from Pablo Hernández. In the final moments, UD Melilla was reduced to ten men with Beka’s red card.
The 2-0 scoreline stood until the end, marking the last away game of the season. CD Atlético Baleares will finish the season next week at home against Recreativo Granada.
