Balears FC Makes History and Promotes to Primera Federación Iberdrola

Balears FC has made history after being promoted to Primera Federación Iberdrola, the second tier of Spanish women’s football. The white-and-blues were promoted after winning the playoff against Adeje Tenerife.

In the first leg, Txema Expósito’s team won 2-1 at Son Malferit. The second leg in Tenerife ended 2-2 after the white-and-blues had taken a 2-0 lead.

Even so, Balears FC held strong in the final minutes, achieving a historic promotion.
