Darius Fustos, firepower for the Balearic attack

Atlético Baleares announce their latest signing of the winter transfer window: Darius Fustos, 22, who arrives on a free transfer from Real Zaragoza’s reserve side, Deportivo Aragón, where he has scored 4 goals in the first half of the season.

The young Romanian forward joins the club to strengthen the attacking line until the end of the season. Darius brings plenty of experience in Segunda RFEF, with over 100 official appearances and 25 goals, as well as having taken part in two promotion play-off campaigns to Primera RFEF, showing great competitive maturity despite his age.

A 1.82-metre-tall striker, Fustos has previously played for clubs such as Utebo FC and UD Montijo. He is a versatile attacker with good movement and pace, a strong work rate, a powerful shot and the ability to operate out wide.

With his arrival, the club adds strength to its attacking department, bringing in a forward ready to make an immediate impact and help the team in the second half of the season.
