Luis Blanco: “We’ve brought in players we believe can make a contribution”
The blanquiazul coach spoke to the media this Friday ahead of the match against Valencia Mestalla, which will be played this Sunday the 8th, starting at 12:00, at the Estadi Balear:
The coach’s comments:
“We’re up against another reserve side, with all the difficulty that entails. It’s a team that has been improving little by little.”
“There are reserve-team players who are very close to making the step up to professional football.”
“We’re coming off a defeat and it’s clear that now we need to pick up three points. We have to improve on what happened last week, and that’s what we’ve been working on throughout the week.”
“We’ve tried to bring in players we believe can make a contribution. Day-to-day training is very competitive and, in fact, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to make the squad.”
“For me there’s one team that really stands out, and that’s UD Poblense, who are doing things very well. The rest of us are in a very tight group at the top.”
“There are still plenty of matches to be played and the difficulty of the league is extremely high. Like us, there are other teams with the same objectives.”
“As for the squad, Manu remains sidelined. Everyone else is available, although Ulrich will miss out due to suspension.”
