Atlético Baleares snatch a point in stoppage time at Sa Plana (2-2)

CD Atlético Baleares salvaged a point in added time during their visit to the Municipal de Sa Plana, in an intense clash corresponding to matchday 32 of Group III in the Segunda RFEF. The blue-and-whites drew 2-2 against CE Andratx thanks to a last-minute goal from Berto Rosas in the 90th minute.
The match started with high pace and chances for both sides, but it was Andratx who struck first. Miquel Jaume opened the scoring with a powerful shot to make it 1-0. Luis Blanco’s side reacted with intensity and came close to equalizing when Bover’s shot hit the post.
After the break, Atlético Baleares came out strong and were soon rewarded for their efforts. Jaume Tovar, very active throughout the game, equalized in the 55th minute with a precise header inside the box.
Shortly after, Peñafort took advantage of a defensive mistake to restore the lead for the home side, making it 2-1.
Just when it looked like the match was over, Berto Rosas stepped up in the dying moments to score the final 2-2 and secure a valuable away point for Atlético Baleares.
The team’s next fixture will also be away, this time against RCD Mallorca B. It will be the second-to-last match of the regular season.
