The victory against Mallorca B (0-3) keeps ATB in the fight for second place ahead of the final matchday

CD Atlético Baleares beat RCD Mallorca B 0-3 in the penultimate matchday of the Segunda RFEF (Group III). With this victory, Luis Blanco’s team remains in contention for second place in the regular season standings. The blue-and-whites secured three points thanks to goals from Berto Rosas, Tovar, and Jaume Pascual.
The ATB came into the game looking for the win and to put pressure on Sant Andreu, who, after their defeat, left second place just one point away.
From the very first minute, ATB pressed hard and went for the three points. Berto Rosas opened the scoring with a fantastic shot from the edge of the box in the 28th minute. The team went into halftime leading 1-0.
After the break, the second goal came thanks to a penalty earned by Sergio Moreno. Tovar converted it in the 48th minute.
In the 79th minute, Jaume Pascual sealed the victory with a well-placed finish, scoring the team’s third and final goal.
The match ended 0-3, and ATB keeps alive their chances of finishing second, ahead of their final league match, which will be played next Sunday, May 4th, at 12:00 PM at the Estadio Balear against SD Ibiza.
