Warren seals Atlético Baleares’ defeat after a promising start (0-1)

CD Atlético Baleares fell at the Estadio Balear to Valencia Mestalla (0-1) in the ninth matchday of the Segunda RFEF (Group III) league competition. The blue-and-whites couldn’t overcome Valencia’s reserve team despite a strong first half, but they lacked luck in front of goal.

Dani Plomer was the standout player in the first half, with up to four clear chances to make it 1-0, but it was the visitors who struck first. Warren scored the only goal of the match in the 36th minute.

In the second half, the game opened up, and both teams had opportunities to score. Nuha had two clear chances, but the goalkeeper denied him a goal.

The match ended 0-1. The team will play next Sunday at 12 noon in Olot.
