Óscar Sánchez signs with the first team until 2025

Óscar Sánchez and Atlético Baleares have reached a renewal agreement. The young center-back, who until now played for Santanyí’s subsidiary team, will become a member of the first team from next season until June 2025.

Sports director Patrick Messow points out: “Renewals like Óscar’s are in line with our willingness to reward the good work of subsidiary and academy players and to provide continuity to their progress and projection by renewing their contract, in this case with the first team, for two more seasons.”

The Balearic central defender made his Primera RFEF debut this season in the 9th round against CD Eldense. Óscar also played minutes in the visit to Amorebieta in the 14th round, in the first round of the Copa del Rey against CD Arnedo, and in the 24th round against CD Castellón.

In the Tercera División, Óscar Sánchez has played 11 games this season, 10 of them as a starter, with the Santanyí subsidiary team. Óscar Sánchez is undoubtedly a very important player for the Balearic subsidiary team who combines the daily life of the first team with Santanyí.
