Atlético Baleares falls just short of victory (2-2)

Atlético Baleares fell just short of claiming victory against Intercity in the 27th round of the Primera RFEF (Group II). The visitors took the lead twice, but they suffered two controversial penalties against them. The last penalty was awarded in injury time, just as it seemed like the “Balearen” were going to secure the win. Next Sunday, March 19th, Atlético Baleares will host Osasuna B (12 p.m., Balear Stadium), in another key match for their survival. Osasuna Promesas is eighth and is coming off a 4-2 win over Real Unión.
