Marc Lachèvre and Álex Pachón officially presented to the media at ConectaBalear’s headquarters

Today we visited ConectaBalear’s headquarters to officially present Marc Lachèvre and Álex Pachón. The event was also attended by the club’s CEO, Patrick Messow, and sporting director Marc Julià.

Sporting director Marc Julià officially introduced the new ATB players this Thursday and began by thanking ConectaBalear for making their facilities available for the presentation.

On Marc Lachèvre

“A 23-year-old Catalan footballer with experience in the Primera RFEF, where he played 30 matches with Alcorcón last season. He’s a player we’ve been monitoring since the summer. He previously worked with the head coach at RCD Espanyol and is a very well-rounded full-back, strong, intense and solid defensively. He can also contribute going forward, especially with his crossing ability”.

On Álex Pachón

“He is 25, also Catalan, and arrives from Unionistas de Salamanca in the Primera RFEF. In our opinion, he hasn’t had the prominence he deserved. He came through Girona’s academy, made his debut with the first team in the Second Division and was called up several times to LaLiga. A season ago he played for Bergantiños, where he had an outstanding campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing two assists. He’s a reference striker and a very complete forward”.

Julià also highlighted both players’ commitment:

“They’re here because both of them really wanted to come”.

The players’ words

Álex Pachón:

“The coach is the one who decides. I train every day to contribute in any way I can, both on and off the pitch. What matters is where we are now and how we reach the end of the season. The goal is promotion”.

The striker added:

“I like playing with a partner up front, with two strikers, but I’m also comfortable dropping deep to get involved. I hope to build good chemistry with Jaume Tovar and with all my teammates”.

Meanwhile, Marc Lachèvre spoke about his quick adaptation:

“I’m ready to help the team in whatever role I’m given. There’s competition in my position”.

“I’ve been following the club since last season. The daily work in training helps you improve and gain match rhythm”.

“The adaptation has been quite fast. I think I’m connecting well with my teammates and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to start games over these last few weeks”.

Transfer market

CEO Patrick Messow gave a positive assessment of the current squad:

“We’re very happy with the squad we have. We’re keeping an eye on the market, calmly and sensibly. We know that anything can happen up until Monday, and we’re not ruling out further signings”.
