Hugo Anglada, new defensive signing

The club have reached an agreement for the signing of Hugo Anglada, who joins on a permanent transfer from Girona FC

The young defender has signed a contract for one and a half seasons, running until the 2026–2027 campaign. Anglada, 21 years old and 1.83 metres tall, is a right-footed centre-back who can also operate as a holding midfielder. Despite his young age, he already boasts a solid background in Spanish football.

The Aragonese player has made 46 official appearances in Segunda RFEF, a division in which he has continued to develop as a footballer. He also has experience in professional football, having played 4 matches in Segunda División, where he made his debut with SD Huesca. With the Huesca first team, he also featured in 2 Copa del Rey matches.

At international level, Hugo has been capped by Spain’s under-19 national team, making 2 appearances, a clear reflection of his potential and performances.

This season he has been on loan at UD Barbastro, a team competing in our group, where he has played 14 official matches and scored 1 goal.
