CD Atlético Baleares cruise to a 7-1 win over CD Llosetense at the Estadi Balear

ATB claimed another pre-season victory with a commanding 7-1 win over CD Llosetense at the Estadi Balear.

The Blue and Whites took control of the game in the first half. In the 27th minute, Raúl Caballero opened the scoring with a stunning goal after Fabrice Montcheu pulled the ball back to him. Caballero controlled it before firing home on the volley. Eight minutes later, Pablo Hernández doubled the lead with a superb free-kick into the far corner to make it 2-0.

The changes came after the break, along with another impressive attacking display. Adri Català made it 3-0 in the 61st minute from a Barto Fontanet assist. Just two minutes later, Adri Català produced a brilliant run down the wing before cutting the ball back for Rubén Catalá, who made it 4-0 with an excellent backheel finish.

Llosetense pulled one back from the penalty spot, but Baleares showed no signs of slowing down. Rubén Bover made it 5-1 with a delightful lob after a first-time pass from Gerardo Bonet. Late on, Jofre Cherta added the sixth after another cut-back from Adri Catalá, before the winger himself rounded off the scoring from the penalty spot to seal the final 7-1 scoreline.

CD Atlético Baleares’ next pre-season fixture will take place this Saturday, 8 August at 10:30 at the Estadi Balear against Playas de Calvià.
