Atlético Baleares, with nine absences, falls to Sanluqueño (5-0)

CD Atlético Baleares suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Atlético Sanluqueño (5-0) in the fourth matchday of the Primera RFEF (group II) league. Tato García’s team couldn’t cope with an inspired opponent who capitalized on all their goal-scoring opportunities.

Tato had to deal with as many as nine absences from the first team. At the last moment, David Rodríguez’s absence was added due to paternity leave.

The Balearic team conceded four goals in the first half, with Mwepu netting a hat-trick and another goal from Guti. In the second half (minute 60), Atlético Sanluqueño added a fifth and final goal, courtesy of Cabrera. ATB will host Ceuta next Sunday at noon.
