ATB beat Real Madrid C in Valdebebas (0-2)

CD Atlético Baleares claimed a 0-2 win over Real Madrid C in Valdebebas in another pre-season friendly, with Óscar Troya’s side once again producing a positive performance.

The match got off to the perfect start for the blue and whites. In the 2nd minute, Pablo Hernández opened the scoring with a left-footed strike from inside the box. ATB continued to threaten and, in the 38th minute, Axel Bejarano controlled the ball inside the area before turning and firing home the second.

Shortly after the restart, Adrià Català won a penalty, but Rubén Bover was unable to convert from the spot. Troya used the remainder of the match to give his players minutes and make a number of changes.

There were no further goals as ATB saw out a 0-2 victory, rounding off another encouraging performance in Valdebebas.

The team will be back in action tomorrow at 12:00 against UD San Sebastián de los Reyes at Matapiñonera, in the second friendly of their stay in Madrid.
