Draw in Linarejos in the first match of the year

CD Atlético Baleares earned a point in their visit to Linarejos on matchday 18 of the Primera Federación RFEF. Juanma Barrero’s team withstood the pressure from the home side but also had a few chances to secure more points.
The match kicked off with the home team showing a lot of intensity, and Ramón Vila had to intervene on two occasions to prevent a goal from Linares Deportivo. In the first half, the white-and-blue squad did not pose a threat in the opposing area.
After a goalless first half, the second 45 minutes started differently. Juanma Barrero’s men stepped forward, and with a great header from Xisco after a cross from Pastrana, they came close to scoring the opening goal.
As the minutes passed, the home team regained strength, and Ramón Vila had to make a couple of saves to prevent a local goal. The match ended with the initial score.
CD Atlético Baleares secured one point and continues its streak of matches without a defeat. Now, the white-and-blue team will face Recreativo de Huelva in what will be the last match of the first half of the season.
