CD Atlético Baleares Falls to Atlético de Madrid’s B Team (3-0)

CD Atlético Baleares suffered a defeat in their visit to Atlético de Madrid’s Ciudad Deportiva (3-0). Juanma Barrero’s team failed to score against Atlético de Madrid’s B team, and with a 2-0 scoreline, David Rodríguez missed a penalty.

The match began with the starting debuts of Rochina, Azeez, and Zalaya, three of the winter signings. The initial minutes were promising for the white and blue team, but in the 18th minute, Niño anticipated the defense and scored the opening goal.

With a 1-0 scoreline, the first half ended after some good actions from Rochina and David R, who couldn’t find the net. After halftime, Niño once again found the back of the net, making it 2-0 for the home side.

With the substitutions, ATB pushed forward, finding depth with good runs from Nuha, who won a penalty. David Rodríguez stepped up for the penalty kick, but Iturbe made the save.

Right after missing the penalty, Atlético Madrid’s B team scored the third goal (3-0), a counter-attack that proved challenging for the white and blue defense. The match concluded with this result.

Next match: against CD Castellón at Estadi Balear.
