Balears FC introduces Naroa Santana and Raquel Gurrionero at Semilac headquarters
Balears FC visited the Semilac training center this Wednesday, where the renewal of the sponsorship for another season was announced, along with the official presentation of the two new signings for the women’s first team: Naroa Santana and Raquel Gurrionero.
Sponsorship Renewal
Semilac and Balears FC will continue together for another season. This will be the fifth consecutive year of collaboration between both parties.
Sporting director Marc Julià opened the event by thanking the brand for its commitment:
“First of all, I want to thank Semilac for continuing to support women’s football. This is our fifth season together, and I hope it lasts much longer.”
Player Presentations
On the new signings, Marc Julià highlighted:
- Raquel Gurrionero: “She returns home after two years away. At 23, she’s a central defender who brings strength, aerial presence, and character.”
- Naroa Santana: “She’s 22, from Gipuzkoa, and developed her entire career in Real Sociedad’s academy. She’s a box-to-box midfielder with great organizational ability and attacking presence.”

Raquel Gurrionero:
“Obviously, there’s no place like home. I’m really happy to be back, the opportunity came up and I’m delighted.”
