Vicenç Sabater joins as the new white-and-blue goalkeeper

CD Atlético Baleares have signed Vicenç Sabater to strengthen their goalkeeping department.

The 32-year-old goalkeeper from Palma arrives from UD Poblense, where he has spent the past two seasons, gaining valuable experience and consistency between the posts. Throughout his career, Sabater has also represented CE Andratx, Platges de Calvià, Constància, CD Barco and previously CD Atlético Baleares during the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.

With extensive experience in Balearic football, the club’s new goalkeeper is known for his understanding of the division, his reliability and his competitive mentality.

Sporting director Marc Julià welcomed the signing: “We’re delighted to bring in a goalkeeper from the island. Standing at 1.87 metres, he will give us added strength in the air, and he also brings a wealth of experience at this level. He will be an important figure in the dressing room as well, so we’re very pleased to have him at the club.”

Welcome, Sabater!
