Nerea Orfila Joins Balears FC

Nerea Orfila is the third signing for Balears FC for the 24/25 season. The Mallorcan returns to the island after five years at Fundación Albacete, where she achieved great milestones such as promotion to Primera Federación, the division in which she will play with the blanquiblau team.

Orfila is a left-footed defender and usually plays as a central defender or left-back. She returns to the island to contribute to the project in the second tier of Spanish football after developing in the youth categories of Son Sardina.

For Balears FC’s Sporting Director, Marina Tugores, Orfila will significantly add to the team: “Nerea is versatile and very strong on the left flank. Having Mallorcan players with experience in the category is always a luxury. We are gradually building the team we want to compete in this new division.”
