Words from Luis Blanco:

“It was very special. When you spend eleven years at a club… I felt very comfortable and returning is always special. It’s a match you look forward to because of the people you care about”

“Scoring so early affected us subconsciously. We played really well. They had one chance in the first and another in the second half. We lacked a bit more threat”

“I’m happy with the team’s winning mentality”

“It was a clash between two top teams. We aimed to control the game and we achieved that. There was more than just three points at stake. Espanyol will surely be in the playoffs and now we are six points ahead plus goal difference. Only four finals remain”

“These three points bring us closer to the promotion goal”
