Izan Llinares and Alberto Espiñeira unveiled as Óscar Troya previews UCAM Murcia clash

This Friday, 18 September, at 12:30 pm, the Estadi Balear hosted the official presentation of Izan Llinares and Alberto Espiñeira. Following the presentation, Óscar Troya spoke to the media to preview Sunday’s clash against UCAM Murcia, corresponding to matchday three of the Segunda Federación and the team’s first league fixture of the season.

Izan Llinares:

“I only have words of gratitude. From Rubén to all the captains, everyone has given me a very warm welcome.”

“I’m feeling good. It took me a little while to get going because I was the last to arrive, but I’m feeling better and better.”

Alberto Espiñeira:

“It’s a step up I was really looking forward to making. When the opportunity to join Baleares came up, I didn’t have to think twice.”

“I’ve been really impressed by the facilities. They’re well above what you would expect at this level.”

“The team is showing very positive signs. It’s just a matter of time.”

Óscar Troya:

“We can’t wait for the match to get under way.”

“As well as being intense, I’m demanding. I always want to win.”

“Mentally, the players are ready. We want to get points on the board. It’s not about making a statement; we want to win.”
