Luis Blanco: “Our intention is to go out and win”

Head coach Luis Blanco spoke to the media ahead of the final league matchday, as the team travels to Barcelona to face RCD Espanyol B at the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque on Saturday 2 May at 18:30.

“We have to remain competitive. For us, the league doesn’t end this weekend, so we’ll need to manage the situation well.

As always, we’ll put together a team ready to win the match. Right now, it’s Espanyol next and that’s our only focus.

We’re growing a lot as a team. It’s been a normal training week, with full focus on what matters.

Our intention is clear: to go out and win. That’s the mentality of this group.

There are many variables and we have no preference regarding the opponent. Whoever we face will be very competitive, so we can’t focus on the type of team, only on ourselves.”
