First Atlético Baleares victory under Luis Blanco (0-2)

The first victory of 2025 has finally arrived. Atlético Baleares secured an important away win against Badalona Futur (0-2) on matchday 24 of the Segunda RFEF (Group III) league championship. The victory came after a streak of one defeat and five consecutive draws. Rosas and Plomer were the scorers for Atlético Baleares.
The match was a hard-fought battle throughout the ninety minutes. Atlético Baleares’ latest signing, Berto Rosas, had three chances in the first half, and on the third attempt, in the 41st minute, the ATB took the lead (0-1).
Rosas took advantage of a great play by Jaume Pol on the left to score his first goal wearing the CD Atlético Baleares jersey.
The second half started with Badalona Futur pushing forward and creating good individual plays, but ATB defended very well.
After a brilliant move by Plomer, the final 0-2 was sealed. A fantastic goal following an individual action. That result secured the first victory for the new coach, Luis Blanco.
Atlético Baleares is back in the Playoff zone, tied for fifth place with Terrassa and Torrent, and six points behind the leader, Europa. Luis Blanco’s team will host Sabadell next Sunday, March 2nd, at 12:00 PM at the Estadio Balear.
