Café Rico to continue supporting Balears FC for another season

Café Rico extends support for Balears FC until 2026 as the club unveils two new signings

The press conference took place at the Café Rico factory, in its tasting and training room. Alongside introducing the new players, there was also a tour of the facilities.

Sporting director, Marc Julià, began by thanking Café Rico and its CEO Biel Maimó, highlighting that this marks six seasons of working together.

“For us, having Café Rico continue to back Balears FC is fantastic news. We are grateful for their loyal commitment over so many years.”

Regarding the new additions, Julià noted:

• Abi Quiróz: “Abi is an international with the Bolivian national team and took part in this year’s Copa América. She is a quality attacking midfielder, able to win the ball back and bring balance.”
• Marina Crespo: “Marina is a versatile and multi-skilled player who provides clean build-up play from the back, game vision and the ability to pick passes.”

Marc Julià on Juanpe’s resignation and the project

The sporting director explained that, due to personal reasons, former coach Juanpe —who started this project just three months ago— informed the club he did not feel ready.
“The club’s doors will always be open for him,” Julià stressed, adding that “the project with Miki Mayans, now first-team coach, remains just as ambitious.”

On the transfer market, Marc stated:

“The market is still open and we continue working to strengthen the squad.”

He also reminded that the next fixture will be on Sunday against Mallorca International Football Club in the Margarita Miranda Trophy.
