The 2024/25 preseason starts for CD Atlético Baleares

The club’s first team begins today with medical check-ups.

The 2024/25 preseason is already underway for CD Atlético Baleares. The players were called in this morning at two medical centers for the necessary check-ups before starting training next week.

The morning began at Estadio Balear with blood tests for all the players. Then, the first visit was to Deporvidas, a center specializing in comprehensive cardiology. There, the players underwent stress and respiratory tests to check their cardiovascular health. The main goal is to ensure that the athletes can participate safely in physical and sports activities, maximizing their performance and minimizing the risk of cardiac complications.

Later, they went to Fisioplanet, a physiotherapy center focused on the recovery of athletes with musculoskeletal pathologies. Most of the tests conducted were strength tests to prevent future injuries and check the players’ muscle health. Additionally, general medical check-ups were performed to ensure everything is in order to start training sessions on Monday.

One of the novelties was the presence of Florin Andone. The club has committed to helping the Romanian player prepare for the upcoming season. Other new faces included Christopher Robin, Lluis Tamarit, and Juanfran Vaquer, players moving up from the Juvenil “A” who will start the preseason with the first team.

All medical tests will be completed tomorrow, and the first sessions on the pitch will begin on Monday, the 22nd.
